The Warehouse associate helps manage inventory, receive and unload materials, pull and prepare items for shipment or replenishment, prepare and load outbound shipments, and maintain the safety/sanitation/security of the warehouse environment.  He or she appropriately handles all materials following company policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace.  Specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned according to assigned department or work station.

The ideal candidate must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. The candidate has basic handheld computerized devices skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and is very reliable. He or she must be highly organized and self-motivated with strong teamwork skills and must have the physical ability to perform the requirements of the job, which may include greater than average lifting.


  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move items to proper storage locations.
  • Efficiently stack, store, and rotate stock in the appropriate storage areas.
  • Pull and prepare items for shipment or replenishment, verifying that the exact quantity, size, and type of product is loaded, shipped, or prepared for shipment.
  • Hand-load products from shipping areas onto pallets in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, ensuring proper product type, size, and quantity is shipped as directed by designated personnel.
  • Load, unload, move, stack, store, and stage products using a pallet jack, slip sheet machine, forklift, order picker, or other power equipment.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain the facility equipment in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner.
  • Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment on a daily basis.
  • Keep appropriate records to guarantee inventory control, rotation of stock, and security are maintained.
  • Report in writing any safety or mechanical problems with the power equipment.
  • Assist with physical inventories as required.
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that consistently promotes safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear, stand and walk, sit, reach with arms and hands, lift and carry, use hands and fingers to handle or feel
  • Able to perform greater than average lifting (25-50 lbs), with some overhead lifting required
  • Repeated lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, including some kegs
