Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
Under the general supervision of the Territory Services Manager:
Responsibleformaintainingasafedrivingrecordandforthesafe loading/unloadingandtransportingofRYKOchemicalstocustomer jobsites/locations.
Responsibleforthelegibleandcorrectcompletionofthedriver'strip logandallapplicablepaperworkpertainingtothetransportand deliveryofchemicals,parts,andequipment.
Responsibleformaintaininggoodcustomerrelationswhile performingdeliverydutiesandduringanycustomertelephone communications,wearacompanyuniform,andpresentapositive companyimage.
Responsibleformonitoringthemaintenanceneedsandrequirements oftheRYKOvehicle,obtaininganddocumentingsameonatimely basis.
Mayassistwithwarehouseandinventoryactivitieswithinthe applicableservice location.
AssistwiththeorganizationandcleanlinessoftheRYKOfieldsales andservicefacilitiesandperformothermiscellaneousdutiesas directed.
High school diploma or equivalent
Driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations within the past 5 years; no preventable, at-fault accidents within the past 5 years
No impaired driving convictions, pending charges, or test refusals within the past 5 years
Ability to route and deliver orders efficiently
Proficiency in maintaining transportation documents
Ability to interact well with customers and fellow employees
Knowledge of, or ability to learn and apply appropriate safety procedures
Must be able to speak, understand, and write English
Will work inside and outside for extended periods while exposed to various weather conditions.
Will occasionally be exposed to moving machinery, loud noises, and vibration.
