Description of Position:
The truck driver position exists to deliver finished goods to customers and other business entities using company vehicles. Under the general supervision of the Transportation Manager, this individual must be able to remain fully attentive of their work surroundings while operating company vehicles. Individuals must be able to adapt to various work assignments; must keep their work area clean and follow all safety and Good Manufacturing guidelines. In addition, individuals must work well with others in a supportive team environment in order to meet shipping, production, quality and quantity standards.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Must possess a Class A “CDL” license.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others.
- Must be able to climb stairs, bend and stoop.
